Vrbnik is a medieval stone town perched on a 48-metre cliff above the Adriatic — one of the oldest settlements on the island of Krk. Narrow alleys, glagolitic monasteries, and a quiet, lived-in authenticity that the bigger islands lost decades ago.
Krk is reached by bridge — no ferries, no queues. Rijeka airport sits on the same island, twenty minutes away. You can land at midday and be on a sunlounger by two.
A balcony over the Adriatic
The villa sits just above the old town, offering both privacy and walkable access to restaurants, wineries and the coast. Rijeka airport is a 19-kilometre drive, making the island easy to reach from anywhere in Europe.
From the terrace you can see the bell tower of Vrbnik, the lights of Crikvenica on the mainland, and on clear evenings, the silhouette of Velebit beyond.
